Embedded engineers need to have proficiency in Linux environments to develop code and databases for intelligent medical devices. Software engineers will be responsible for code and database development through the full software development lifecycle, and since this company operates in the medical field any previous understanding of documentation and industry standard around medical devices would lend itself well to someone being successful in this role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; Master's degree is desired
- 5+ years' post-graduate experience in software development and architecture required
- C/C++ coding proficiency
- Experience with wireless connectivity for servers (virtual & cloud) is desired
Server software engineers will be performing full stack development for new server and web-based technology for the databases tied to the company's embedded product lines.
- C#/C++, Java coding
- HTML, XML, .NET, and SQL Server/SQL Server Reporting Services experience
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud is highly desired, and familiarity with Docker containers is needed
Junior software engineers are also needed for both embedded and server-based positions. A 4 year degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline is required with at least an internship or co-op experience in relevant software engineering. **Local candidates needed for these positions**
