Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or information systems or related Discipline
  • proficiency in C/C++
  • 0-5 Years of experience
Experience Level:
  • Intermediate Level
  • Proficiency in c/c++
  • Years experience 0-5
Description:

Develop software to simulate unmanned air vehicle systems from the requirements phase through field test. Focus is on real-time aircraft system simulation using the C/C++ language.

Other duties may include embedded software development for miscellaneous aircraft systems.

Will document all aspects of code development including requirements definition, detailed design, and testing, including the use of Python for automated test.

May occasionally be required to support flight/ground testing of software at the flight test facilities.

May be required to analyze flight data to investigate system behavior.

Interpret, debug and modify complex legacy software following GA process and coding standards.

Ability to work under general supervision and interface effectively with other engineers of various disciplines, including aircraft design engineers.

Perform peer review of other developer’s code and perform testing with UAV mockup in the Software Integration Lab.

May be required to interpret Interface Control Documents with regard to software implementation for that interface.Skills:
