The Test Engineer will develop and oversee end-to-end software testing and verification plans.
Essential Job Functions:
As a Software Test Engineer, you will support developing and execution of end-to-end software testing of complex controller systems for US Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center’s Active Protection Integration Laboratory. Technical responsibilities also include expert level software development experience within Linux and Linux RTOS environments – from driver to application layer.
Leading test activities from planning to report milestones.
Developing System and Software Level Test Plans.
Developing Test Procedures based on Software Requirements.
Develop Test Scripts, code and/or methods for Test Automation.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 8 years of experience.
Significant experience developing software test plans and producing test reports.
Strong C/C++ Knowledge.
Experience operating within Linux and Windows environments.
Experience developing with common bus interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, and Serial.
Experience with test scripting and automation.
Knowledgeable in Model Based Systems Engineering.
Experience with network debugging tools such as Wireshark
Experience with requirements and interface documentation.
Ability to work in an integrated, multi-discipline team.
Familiar with configuration management and version control management.
Familiar with peer review processes.
Familiar with System Integration Lab (SIL) equipment.
