Our Application Development teams use their expertise in programming languages and software design to develop next-generation technology. They are responsible for developing the applications which track and move up to 38 million packages in a single day (4.7 billion annually). This team works closely with all of our customers to build innovative technologies that are customized to drive our business and provide the ultimate customer experience. About this role:
The Sr. Applications Developer provides development & support for various Financial Systems - RECS and Treasury Applications. Involvement in full SDLC including analysis of requirements, estimating, design, code/build, testing & deployment. Ability to complete work in designated timeframes. Must be a quick learner, self-motivated & be able to work independently. Collaborate in a team environment.
The Sr. Applications Developer candidate for this position must have advance experience with SQL Server Development (including SSIS & Stored Procedures), C# and ASP.NET. The primary responsibilities of this position include application design, development, testing and integration testing with upstream/downstream applications. The candidate requires hands on development expertise in front-end and server-side coding. The candidate will also be providing technical leadership to more junior team members.
The candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills to be able to understand and convey technical solutions with other developers. The ability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- 2-5 years of experience with MS-SQL Server, SSIS, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server Stores Procedures
- Advanced-level proficiency Requirements Analysis and Technical Analysis
- Effective verbal and written communication and Troubleshooting skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
