Our Application Development teams use their expertise in programming languages and software design to develop next-generation technology. They are responsible for developing the applications which track and move up to 38 million packages in a single day (4.7 billion annually). This team works closely with all of our customers to build innovative technologies that are customized to drive our business and provide the ultimate customer experience. As a member of the applications development family, you will help UPS grow and provide valuable services across the globe.
About this role:
This Sr. Applications Developer will be working on the Crew Management Replacement program with a focus on the integration layer working with the Crew Scheduling System (CSS) Product Integration team. The selected candidate requires the technical and soft skills for meeting responsibility for integrating vendor(s) and UPS built products with Crew legacy applications. He/She will have the ability to work in a team environment and use their software development experience for guidance and input in the teams day-to-day, peer reviews and code perspective.
- Experience with Agile Development, Agile and Scrum Concepts, Data Analysis, Technical Analysis, Java Programming, Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Oracle and SQL & PL/SQL
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
