Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer
Location: Remote work
Duration: 3-4 Months with possible extensions
The objective of the project this person will be working on is to design, engineer, and pilot a Cyber Security model for a stage of the MandA lifecycle which exists between MandA Due Diligence and MandA Integration, called MandA Pre-Integration. This project is to design and engineer and pilot repeatable and scalable Cyber Security processes, procedures and technologies to execute an effective handshake between these two groups. The first set of controls to be piloted are Vulnerability, Incidence Response, and Cyber Security Communications (such as reporting between the two groups).
The opportunity will require a Cyber Security Engineer for approximately 5 weeks, perhaps as long as 7 weeks.
Must Have Requirements
Cyber Security Vulnerability Analysis process design and execution
Cyber Security Incident Response process design and execution
Working understanding of the Cyber Security Capability Maturity Model, C2M2
Working understanding of Cyber Security technology architecture stack
Working understanding of Security Operations Centers (SOC) from design, integration and implementation perspective
Some Mergers and Acquisitions Lifecycle experience, particularly in Due Diligence and Integration phases. Must understand basic terminology and flow.
Some experience building staged Cyber Security Models which have been piloted at a minimum (such as C2M2, but others are acceptable)
Excellent oral and written communication skills this person will be working extensively with the CISO as well as the VP of Security Operations (SecOps) as well as their direct reports.
Excellent team player
Full Mergers and Acquisitions lifecycle experience
Working understanding of NIST Risk Management and ISO 27001 Information Security Management
