- Our direct client located in Melville, NY has an immediate need for a Sr. Deskside Support consultant working within a team environment.
- This is a long term/ongoing role
- The technician will provide on-site Windows and MacOS support
- There are approximately just under 2000 users
- The Deskside Support Engineer is accountable for their ticket workload and management of their ticket queue.
- Responsible for providing IT services and support for the Melville Campus, assist Ops teams and project teams when required for outages, and local assistance for maintenance related activities and support.
- Learning the local technologies and various IT functions within the Melville campus to sufficiently support and provide IT services
- Understanding of the responsibilities to the business and their needs and requirements
- Knowledge base documentation of local IT technologies, processes, and IT information
- Coordinating appointments with employees for deskside support
- Meeting and maintaining defined service level for incident and request ticket resolution time frames
