Summary:This role is responsible for evolving and developing a high-performing world-class software, managing quality assurance for core products and working on next generation and innovative products for the software department
Responsible for championing continuous improvement efforts within the organization and ensuring reduction initiatives.
Responsible for the development and execution of organization quality assurance standards, modern testing approaches, and automation framework; will plan, direct, and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Manages, plans, coordinates the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production/service consistent with established standards.
Manage end-to-end testing activities for multiple software products Oversees the development and analysis of statistical data and specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy.
Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize quality and reliability and to minimize costs.
Manages, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, services, and products.
Develops and implements methods and procedures for monitoring work activities, such as preparation of records of expenditures, progress reports, etc.in order to inform management of current status or work activities.
Ensures efficiency, integrity and completeness of tasks related to QA and Testing. Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to quality and reliability.
Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders and champion continuous improvement initiatives across product portfolio.
Manages direct reports and ensures effective communication of performance expectations and areas of responsibilities
Responsible for coaching, guiding and providing ongoing performance feedback
Assists in the development of team members and encourages career advancement and professional growth.
Participates in the recruitment and hiring process for new team members
Bachelor of Science and/ or 10+ Enterprise level Leadership experience in Software Quality Assurance systems, implementation and management within on-prem and cloud test environments.
10 + years of experience managing geographically distributed and offshore teams.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in working globally with Agile/Scrum Testing a must
Working knowledge of building out Automation Frameworks within Enterprise QA Working knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organization skills
Demonstrated ability to manage work with integrity and establish working relationships with all levels of the organization
Great work ethic focused on project and delivering business value at scale
Certified Scrum Master Certification highly desirable.
