Sr. FullStack Developer

Job Description

Title: Sr. Full Stack Developer
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Compensation: $100 K-115 K+ Bonus (Based on experience and previous work history)
Direct Hire



Description

Under the supervision of a Manager, the Sr. Developer develops and demonstrates a broad knowledge and understanding of supported product systems and leverages his or her skills in the appropriate technologies to develop software solutions to complex issues. The Sr. Developer works closely with business analysts, developers, release management engineers, architects and QA analysts to implement programmatic solutions for Elevate’s loan originations platform. The Sr. Developer takes an active role in all phases of the software development lifecycle to ensure adherence to corporate standards and best practices.



Essential Functions

  • Design, develop, deploy and maintain solutions within the loan originations platform
  • Developing technical designs
  • Partner with architects to maintain and drive technical product roadmap
  • Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components
  • Build and execute proper unit tests for all new feature development
  • Creating end-to-end test suites for all components
  • Work with QA/UAT to ensure all changes are properly tested
  • Document all changes in a timely manner
  • Research and fix defects
  • Responsible for releases into production going accurately and timely
  • Follow and help refine programming standards, best practices, coding styles and other development guidelines
  • Develop applications through their full lifecycle
  • Interpret written requirements and technical specifications documents
  • Participate in design/code reviews
  • Lead other developers in ownership of products/problems/resources and technology solutions
  • Assist the Team Lead/Manager with project planning and estimation
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Be available for after-hours “on-call” duties as required ensuring critical financial systems/functions are operational
  • Mentor Developer I and Developer II’s on proper integration testing procedures
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned


Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 7 years’ software development experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ in a leadership or senior role on a software development team
  • Proficient in SQL programming (SQL Server 2012/2016 preferred)
  • Experience with Agile software development practices
  • Experience with Test Drive Development
  • Experience with building and utilizing REST architecture
  • Proficient in building and executing unit tests
  • Skilled in researching and troubleshooting root cause system issues
  • Development experience with all areas of an n-tier system (UI, business logic, messaging, ESB/EAI processing, database structures, stored procedures, etc.)
  • Experience developing and integrating web services
  • Experience designing solutions based off project specifications and design requirements
  • Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, CMS, DHTML, AJAX, MVC 2.0/3.0, XML, XSL, jQuery)
  • Expert understanding and experience with C# .NET, SQL Server, and ASP.NET
  • Solid understanding of .NET security (Authentication/Authorization)
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of continuous integration, service abstraction, and queuing services.
  • Experience with build automation, continuous integration, and source code branching strategies (GIT preferred)
    Experience with developing, deploying and support applications in the cloud
  • Desired: Knowledge of loan originations platforms
