Sr. Project Manager- Application

Job Description



Qualifications:
  • 6 + years of experience required

Responsibilities:
  • The Ops Digital team is looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to help guide the team as we build out support optimization engines, simulators, and dashboards for Client's operating divisions.
  • Responsibilities in this role: Create and own the Product Vision and Roadmaps in partnership with the business Product Manager
  • Create, maintain, prioritize and sequence the team backlog according to business value and existing commitments
  • Leverage technical expertise to translate business requirements into Epics and Features
  • Elaborate Epics and Features into user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint
  • Work with development teams to provide detailed guidance and prioritization during the product development process in an Agile environment
  • Assist the product, engineering, and scrum team during regular ceremonies: feature review, grooming, sprint plans and demos by being the voice of the customer and communicating the value behind each product and prioritization decision
  • Inspect the product progress at the end of every Sprint to accept or reject work done
  • Conduct user acceptance testing on features and bug fixes before they are released, ensuring the high quality of products that are being delivered to customers
  • Communicate to Leadership, Customer Success, Support and other stakeholder's rollout plans, feature details and bug status updates
  • Work with business to plan, execute and drive change management activities associated to assigned projects
  • Develop and review project scopes, considering resources, and technological constraints with consideration to business impacts and identified risks
  • Collaborate with vendors and other parties involved to establish the vision and analyzing tradeoffs between usability and performance needs of integrated systems
  • Proactively build, maintain and manage vendor relationships
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including conveying technical information to technical and non-technical users.
  • Required Education/Experience/Skills:
  • 7+ years related work experience in Product Development & Product Ownership
  • 3+ years related work experience in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment (scaled agile experience preferred)
  • Experience with Application Development from ideation to implementation
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to take a system thinking approach to develop a solution that meets both business and technical needs
  • Experience writing technical requirements
