Summary:Open Edge, a division of Global Payments, is seeking a full time Sr. Software Engineer to join our QA Automation team!.
The developer analyzes, creates, and automates a software project’s functional, performance and security requirements. This includes designing, developing, and maintaining automation suite for applications and integrating them with CI/CD DevOps pipeline. Responsible for improving engineering productivity through automation of manual and repeatable tasks for product validation and release.
Develop, execute and maintain automation suite, utilities, and data sets leveraging commercial and/or open source tools
Design and develop maintainable and extendable automation test frameworks and tools for APIs, Web, Mobile, Windows, and Mac products
Automate testing of defects and assist with the maintenance of test suites
Refactor existing code to optimize and gain efficiency
Make suggestions/contributions for the improvement of software testing/quality
Research and make recommendations to the group regarding new and upcoming technologies and frameworks that may help our products and processes
A minimum of two (2) years development experience with programming languages
- Exposure to OOO programming language, Java preferred
Exposure to Agile methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
two (2) or more years experience in an automated testing environment
Prior experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber)
Proven experience with SQL scripting, reading and writing
