Job Title: STIBO (STEP) Developer
Location: Remote

SUMMARY
You will play a key role in the implementation and expanded usage of Stibo STEP, an MDM vendor solution that will initially be used to deliver a golden source client master. This is a phased implementation requiring partnership with Stibo as the vendor, Infoverity as the implementation partner, CRM, Analytics and Core Cloud Platform team resources within IT as well as partnering with Distribution, Data Governance and Enterprise Data Operations functions in the business. Further domains will be migrated onto Stibo STEP on the back of the initial, successful implementation
 
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Lead the development/configuration/continuous improvement of Stibo STEP MDM solution
  • Implementation of Stibo STEP best practices
  • Lead analysis and design workshops
  • Define detailed Stibo STEP MDM solution architecture and data models
  • Write, review, and approve technical specifications to ensure alignment with user requirements, overall company policy and architectural standards
  • Responsible for detailed design of Physical Model, Stibo configuration, Business Rules, Workflow, UI, Inbound and Outbound process
  • Work with various cross-functional teams and project team to ensure development effort is aligned with the project timelines and quality objectives
  • Supports Data Mapping phases with proper technical analysis
  • Integration with upstream and downstream applications through batch, real time and near real time interface
  • Own and lead the development, code migration and data load activities
  • Co-ordinate with product vendor to mitigate any product limitation
  • Liaise throughout project lifecycle with relevant project stakeholders to define final solution design before deployment
  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
  • Ensure project Functional and Non-Functional requirements are met for the respective track
  • Support Business Analyst in preparing any training manuals related to Stibo end user features, and in providing training to end users
  • Be aware of the program/project timelines and flag potentials risks and issues for timely action by the program/project management team
  • Co-ordinate with Testers and defect fixing
  • Work closely with build and release management teams in maintaining, migrating and validation code into various instances of the STEP application
  • Lead the development efforts and defect remediation during pre-production, production and post-production activities
 
Supervisory responsibilities: No
 
Technical skills and qualifications
  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in the Master Data Management domain
  • At least 3 years / 2 cycles of end-to-end development experience in Stibo (STEP) for PMDM and CMDM module
  • Solid understanding of master data concepts, processes, and tools including data modeling, data profiling, data quality assessment, data integration and data governance.
  • Strong understanding of Java, JavaScript, XML, XSD, and JSON
  • Strong understanding of pattern matching and regular expressions
  • Hands-on experience with SOAP and/or RESTful web services
  • Good to have finance industry experience
  • Experience with Assets Under Management solutions a distinct advantage
  • Ability to work in Agile project
  • Good to have STIBO Certification
  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce
