Sr. Help Desk Technician is responsible for end user support for approximately 800 staff members across North America.

Responsibilities
Work closely with other IT staff to ensure prompt handling of support calls and emails
Provide onsite support to local offices, and be after hours support point-of-contact as scheduled
Oversee physical access and maintenance of server room; gain understanding of all systems housed
Utilize and enhance documented troubleshooting and escalation procedures
Assist with procurement and documentation; work to improve both

Advance IT by providing ideas, and handling IT projects not necessarily limited to Id-user support as an active member of various IT services teams. You may join and be trained as a member of a number of teams, examples include:
General network configuration and troubleshooting
Directory services such as Active Directory or LDAP
Systems management with tools such as Altiris, LANDesk, SCCM, or ZENworks
SharePoint maintenance and development
Printers, and other Windows network peripherals
Mobile devices
Other assignments as needed
