We are searching for a Systems Engineer, Citrix to be a part of our Services team. Candidates should possess hands on knowledge, the ability to problem solve and perform root cause analysis in a fast-paced environment. Candidates are eager to learn, customer focused, an effective communicator, self-initiating and are able to perform tasks without direct oversight. The Systems Engineer will provide leadership and technical direction to other support staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Management, maintenance and diagnosing Citrix solutions to including XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer environments. This includes image management and patch deployment.
§ Manage service requests through a ticketing system
§ Answering inbound services calls, as necessary
§ Provide technical support to clients over the phone or onsite in areas such as e-mail, directories, desktop applications, and project-specific applications.
§ Ability to manage and prioritize requests.
§ Provide user support services including help desk functions and training
§ Mentor and educate team members in a collaborative manner
§ Participate in an on-call rotation
§ Skilled at managing and exceeding end-user expectations
§ Completion of a yearly training plan and certifications
Qualifications/ Technology Experience:
§ A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems or other related field. Unique education, specialized experience, skills, knowledge, training or certification may be substituted for education
§ Minimum of 2 years of related experience managing large environments
§ Industry Certifications in Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft
§ Engineering or consulting experience with Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer, Vmware
§ A strong understanding of virtualization, network, security and storage technologies.
§ In depth knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop Operating System deployment, configuration, and administration in a virtual environment
§ Candidate must have reliable transportation
§ Candidate must be able to lift 50lbs
