System Administrator, Sr. (Remote)

Job Description

  • Develop and execute on enterprise workstation imaging and deployment methodology
  • Advanced experience developing Windows Autopilot provisioning solutions within an enterprise environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Analytics, OOBE, ICD,USMT, ADK, and related imaging tools
  • Understanding of Azure Active Directory Domain Join Process
  • Advanced knowledge of Intune including creation of policies, troubleshooting failures, and development testing
  • Develop and execute on plan for increasing overall desktop platform optimization and standardization
  • Computer hardware preparation and deployment
  • Monitor the performance of systems using Windows Analytics
  • Create and manage application deployment objects for new and existing software
  • Establish and maintain self-provisioning pool of applications
  • Manage deployment of all patches, critical updates and service packs on a timely basis
  • Maintain ongoing communications with client support teams and Stefanini Engineers regarding application issue resolution and general workstation management
  • Support work with key platform vendors to resolve issues as well as platform strategy development
  • Coordinate applications release with Software Solutions and QA teams and business owners
  • Coordinate release of patches/critical updates and service packs
  • Provide technical assistance to support groups as needed
  • Monitor helpdesk queue to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner or to SLA
  • Report any problems not resolved, or which may cause degradation in meeting SLA
  • Work on special projects as needed
  • Provide back-up infrastructure support as needed


  • Job Requirements

    What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor's degree in area of specialty
  • 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Prefer ITIL and Administering and Microsoft certification
  • Experience leading or managing a technical team
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within appropriate field
  • Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position
  • Expert level experience creating solutions with Microsoft Autopilot
  • In-depth administration experience with Intune
  • 5 years of experience in supporting Microsoft desktop environments
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Desktop products and services
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to desktop support hardware
  • Familiar with automation and scripting
  • Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position
  • Experience implementing/managing Microsoft desktop management platform, imaging, software deployment and related technologies
  • Knowledge supporting Microsoft System Center Suite and other automation platforms is desired
  • Intermediate to Expert knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems
