Team Lead Mechanical Assembly

.Acara Soulutions is looking for a Team Lead to manage the production floor for a client in Hillsboro, OR. This is a Direct HIre/ Permanent Opportunity.The Team Leader provides on the direction on the shop floor to the production assemblers to meet the daily output targets. The position is the key point of contact between the different functions with the focus of maintaining flow of product. The team leader is responsible for training the assembly processes ensuring all assemblers can meet the quality standard.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute the production plan through directing a team of production assemblers. Accountable for meeting daily / weekly production output.
  • Drive a safety-first culture within the team and lead by example.
  • Facilitate training for the production assembly team, provide supervision and guidance to production assemblers as required.
  • Communicate progress updates and manage troubleshooting across teams and functional areas.
  • Maintain an organized work area (5S) to include workstations, equipment & walkways.
  • Participate and contribute in continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency.
  • Maintain a positive team moral with an open atmosphere of team work and cooperation.
  • Be the subject matter expert for assembly processes.

    .Required Skills / Qualifications:
    MIN: HIgh School Diploma5 years experience in the following:
  • 5 years assembly experience.
  • read and interpret engineered drawings and diagrams
  • working with hand tools and small power tools.
  • Preferred Skills / Qualifications:Associates DegreeGood communication skills. Ability to motivate and build team moral.Knowledge of SAP and ERP systems is a benefit.Ability to work with people with varying levels of education, expertise and backgrounds.
