DCS is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support the USAF Sensors Open System Architecture (SOSA) within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.
Essential Job Functions:
The Technical Project Manager will directly support the government SOSA Technical Lead, providing the broad project management, financial, and administrative activities involved in executing a federated, consensus, open-system development program.
Must be capable of understanding and discussing the technical basis of SOSA standards.
Provide the experience and capability to support the assigned tasks and lead support personnel in these tasks.
Will track milestone completion, analyze financial performance and maintain master schedules.
Will coordinate procurement activities; support the development of procurement documentation and aid in source selections as required.
Will coordinate closely with DoD officials to report status both internally and to Sponsor organization.
Will assist in other special assignments, as required, including the development of tools and procedures for program management, program metrics tracking, risk assessment, requirements tracking, financial reporting, cost estimating, property administration, and personnel logistics.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, with 8 years’ program/project management experience.
An active DoD SECRET security clearance is required on the first day of employment.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Experience and degree requirements must be in a field relevant to their functional area.
2-5 years of program/project management experience.
Master’s degree and/or PMP certification preferred.
Experience working with in the DoD acquisition and life cycle management environment.
Familiarity with multiple intelligence disciplines to include, but not limited to: Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Imagery Intelligence (IMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Hyperspectral Imaging, and Sense and Avoid (SAA) Systems.
Experience with US Air Force airborne platforms.
