Job Description –
Years of Experience: 5-plus years of project management experience leading large software development projects.
Scope of Work & Responsibilities:
The candidate will manage a large project within Prudential’s Actuarial Modeling space and must be able to effectively communicate on both business process and technical issues.
The candidate must demonstrate experience managing IT initiatives through the entire SDLC, working effectively with a broad slate of diverse stakeholders internally, as well as software vendors and consulting firms. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial to this position as the candidate will interact heavily with senior leaders on an ongoing basis.
The candidate's responsibilities include working with the business users and senior IT resources to define scope and deliverables, drive sizing of work efforts, defining tasks, dependencies and work sequencing. The candidate must demonstrate success leading large IT project teams independently, with no day-to-day oversight from their supervisor.

You have excellent MS Project and MS Project Online skills

Effective project initiation, scope of work development, establishment of project governance process
Effective development of detailed project baseline work breakdown structures
Project execution, including negotiating change controls of schedules and milestones
Monitoring detailed schedules to assure project objectives are met and work is performed within budget
Coordinating the participation of responsible entities
Specialized Qualifications (Preferred):
Financial Services background.
