This role is more back-end/office support than providing technical troubleshooting support. They will be responsible for all aspects of device intake and processing. In addition they will help teams with hardware deployments, including equipment configuration, imaging and quality assurance.
~ Process mobile device returns for active employees received via UPS shipment
o Check in mobile devices using the Device Compliance Dashboard
o Confirm and/or update devices received to factory reset and accounts removed
o Determine the mobile devices condition to be redeployed or recycled
o Provide deployable mobile device inventory
o Process shipments to recycle vendor
o Weekly mobile device reconciliation scan
~ Assist in deploying laptops throughout the organization; configure settings on Windows and Apple laptops. Performs quality assurance and compliance checks on all devices and equipment prior to deployment.
~ Assist with the preparation of disposition of assets from other regions, to include shipping boxes to customers. Must communicate with Local Asset Coordinators, TSS Site Managers, Regional Asset Managers and national teams.
~ When receiving/shipping of mobile devices/laptops is slower, the individual will be able to work with our Tech. Support Team on other support tickets.
~ Contractor will typically work 40 hour weeks; need flexibility to work possible overtime/weekend once or twice during the year, if needed.
~ Be able to lift and push heavy carts..
