Title: Tier 1 Support Engineer
Location: Broomfield, CO
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Summary
The service desk provides computer support to the entire Company. This includes hardware problems, software issues, connectivity problems, wireless/mobile issues, printing problems, and functionality questions. Most of support is done remotely via screen sharing and over the phone. Customer service, attention to detail, and first call resolution are top priorities.

Computer Skills
  • Windows 10 Operating System troubleshooting and configuration
  • Microsoft Office 365 installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive experience is a plus
  • Desktop/Notebook hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Computer peripheral and hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
 
Responsibilities
  • Supports end-users via phone and remote support tools
  • Images computers and prepares them for end-user deployment
  • Supports Microsoft Office 365 application issues
  • Supports Microsoft Windows 10 on Dell Laptops
  • Documents all work done through ticketing Helpdesk application
  • Supports wireless connectivity for laptops and mobile devices
  • Effectively manages time to make sure calls are responded to in a timely manner
  • Escalates calls to appropriate next Tier support groups
 
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support
  • CompTIA certifications or MS Certifications a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven troubleshooting skills for both computer hardware and software
