Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Location: Can be remote - Preference would be in the Dallas, TX area
Duration: 5-months contract

Job Purpose
This position is responsible for providing customer service, support, and engineering for in-building wireless voice and data systems. She/he will need to provide professional on/off-site support for commissioning and troubleshooting of in-building wireless systems as well as provide remote telephone support for customers. The successful candidate will become a subject matter expert for all technical issues related to the client's Wireless Product Family.

Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships and communicate effectively with external and internal customers
Provide remote and/or on-site support to customers about the technical details of the client's Wireless product line
Create and/or execute acceptance test plans for new installations and upgrades
Troubleshoot, diagnose, resolve, replicate and report software and hardware issues
Technical documentation for troubleshooting results (root cause, software, etc.) through Case Management and Quality Management systems
Drives issues to closure with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and acceptance
Troubleshoot interface between the client system and customer's network
Work with project manager and project team to ensure successful project deployments
Interface with other support, NPI and engineering resources to provide in-depth technical responses to customers
Provide training support and on-site customer education about the client's products
Coordinate with TAC support, RandD and PLM to research product capabilities, performance and field applications
Contribute Tech Notes, providing details on the optimum strategies for effective implementation of the client products

Minimum Requirements (Must: Education, Total Years of Experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
Bachelor of Sciences or an Engineering degree or equivalent of 5 10 years of relevant professional experience in the respective field
5 10 years of experience in mobile infrastructure technology deployments including systems architecture, deployment, troubleshooting and network operations
Experience with filed deployment, acceptance processes, and support services
Experience and knowledge of deploying Small Cells and/or Distributed Antenna Systems
A demonstrated ability to learn new products and/or technologies in a dynamic fast-paced environment
Background in Wireless, Mobility, Cellular, TCP/IP Networking, RF Engineering or System Performance
Detailed knowledge of IP Protocols including IPv4, IPv6, IPSEC, routing and network protocols
Understanding of Cellular technologies and trends
A technical understanding of networking protocols and security mechanisms, such as SNMP, SIP, TR-069, SSL/TLS, LDAP, Radius, SOAP/XML
Understanding of carrier network architectures used today to deliver data/voice/video services
Ability to effectively communicate various levels in the organization through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, presenting)
Must be able to work from a remote/home office location efficiently
