Job Description

Aerotek Engineering is recruiting multiple Industrial Engineers for an OEM Automotive manufacturer in the Nashville Area. These Industrial Engineering positions are open because the facility is working to integrate new programs for future EV launches, the first coming in 2022. These are long-term positions, and the total compensation packages are competitive, including overtime pay, vacation time and holiday pay for successful applicants.

Description:
- Time studies experience for assembly / sub-assembly lines - GA is a very manual process so timing operators walking, picking, wrenching, performing manual work
- Line balancing experience in assembly setting
- New launch experience
- Experience with the development of complex build processes for multiple programs running down a single line (ideally automotive)
- Experience utilizing Assembly Processing System (APS) or similar system for assembly line balancing / job element sheets (JES)
- Other duties as required

*** Please note: For the first 6 months, there will be approximately 75% travel to Michigan to work as part of a team to build prototypes of the new equipment and lines that will be integrated into the local facility for new launch. After that, the position will be local, supporting new programs with IE activities to meet KPIs/JPH and create job element sheet and work instructions for the operators in general assembly. ***

Qualifications:
A bachelors degree (engineering preferred) is required, along with experience working with automotive assembly lines and manufacturing processes.
